Talaq notice drafting
A written notice that meets the legal requirements.
Family Law
A talaq must follow the notice procedure in the law to be properly recorded. ICTV drafts the notice, files it and helps you obtain the certificate.
Under the Muslim Family Laws Ordinance, 1961, a husband who pronounces talaq must give written notice to the Chairman of the Union Council and send a copy to his wife. The Union Council forms an arbitration council to try to bring about reconciliation, and the talaq takes effect after ninety days from the notice, unless it is withdrawn before then.
Many people lose time or face complaints because the notice was not given or recorded properly. We draft the notice, make sure it reaches the right office, track the process and help you collect the certificate you need for NADRA and other records. We also help wives who have received a talaq notice and need to respond.
